Helicopter Tour of Shrewsbury

Due to the popularity of our Shropshire pleasure flights, we have recently added a new helicopter tour to the Helitrip website - a unique opportunity to see the beautiful and historic town of Shrewsbury by air.

This 30 minute helicopter tour begins at Sleap and showcases the finest monuments and places of interest in the Medieval market town.

Take in a breathtaking birds-eye view of the home of Charles Darwin and 11th century Shrewsbury Castle, before flying over the Grade 2 listed Welsh Bridge on the River Severn. The beautifully landscaped Quarry with its tree-lined paths and manicured Dingle are a sure photo-opportunity, boasting a colourful array of flowers and water features.

Finally, marvel at Shrewsbury Abbey, Lord Hill’s Column and 18th century Regency mansion at Attingham Park, before concluding your helicopter trip by flying over Wroxeter Roman City and Vineyard.
